Daunte culpepper is looking strong and ready to play like in 2002. And matthew stafford can be ther future quater back. Last but not least calvin johnsen this guy is a beast he is the best reciever in detroit lions history.

  1. Your Face says:

6-10 is my prediction. And still..last place in NFC north. IF THE LIONS WANT A SUCCESSFUL SEASON..THEY NEED OFFENSIVE LINEMEN THAT CAN BLOCK! THAT’S WHY BARRY SANDERS RETIRED. THEY BRING SOMEONE AS GOOD AS HIM IN RB, BUT NO TALENT IN THE TACKLE/GUARD POSITION!

  2. D-House says:

Better than last season! I predict 5-6 wins this year. They made some big improvements this year. Their linebacking core is SOLID. I think the offense will start to click and their linebackers will be strong leaders of the defense.

  3. The Deman says:

i love college football i dont watch nfl since the whole thing with vick becouse he was my fav. since mattew is in nfl im rooting for the lions and im a bulldog fan lol

  4. Devin says:

They can’t do worse than last year. But, don’t expect a great season from them though. Stafford is still young and developing and Culpepper is way out of his prime. I agree with you on Calvin Johnson. I personally think he is the second best receiver in the league. (Fitz is first of course) I would not expect Detroit to win more than four or five games at most.

  5. Tim says:

    is 4-12 good?

  6. Die heart Lions Fan says:

Yes Hopefully we will be good this season and from last year 8 and 8 but no matter what im a Lions Fan for Life

  7. Rafa Nadal is #1 says:

    LIONS ARE GOING 19-0!!!

  8. Bobby V says:

2-14 i think they have gaping holes they need to fix in there Defense. There offence is improving with Culpepper and Johnson and a decent running back they will improve from a forgettable season last year

  9. beauty says:

Sorry they should’ve took the offensive linemen. They will win 6 games at most.

  10. Paco says:

theyre rebuilding with a rookie QB taking over the starting job. I’ll say 5-5 even 6-10

  11. Michael M says:

    1 win is good
    several is very good
    8 is great
    and mor

  12. Jeff B says:

i have to say at least 8 wins cause a lot of teams are going to be underestimating them it should be fun to watch the latest rebuild of the lines they actually have at least one competent man in the organization in jim Schultz

  13. AnthDits1 says:

I was at this game…worst teams…game of the year

  14. EverythingEvil007 says:

Everyone look at Calvin Johnson on the interception redturn at 1:18…he completely runs away from where the ball is when he could have easily made the tackle. Great WR but that is embarassing lol

  20. tosexycc says:

@joepod OHH SRY SWEETY YES THE BROWNS SUCK ASS THE LION HELL NO. GOOOOOO LIONS

  21. bzurvalec says:

With this victory, the Lions became champions of the 2009 Who Gives a Fuck Bowl!!! Seriously though, I’m not saying the Lions are relevant yet, but I’d look for substantial improvement in 2010. Stafford has a year of experience under his belt, Calvin Johnson is a STUD receiver and Suh will make an immediate impact on the D-Line. I’d look for 6-10 to 8-8 this year. So the bottom line is this: while the Lions aren’t going to be invading the Super Bowl this year, the worst days ARE over.

  22. zxdeuce98 says:

    GO BROWNS!

  23. crazychris1123 says:

  35. cousins851 says:

    LOVE Gus Johnson.

  36. clossonchris says:

@AlbertV90 You mentioned Aaron Brown over Kevin Smith… Interesting

  37. AlbertV90 says:

In my honest opinion, the Lions are going to win more games now with Matthew Stafford, Jehvid Best, Ndamukong Suh, Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson, Brandon Pettigrew and Aaron Brown. These players to me are notable for the Lions.
