If you are a true Eagles fan (which i can clearly see that you are) then you have gotta give props to B-West and the fact that he literally carries this team right now. No doubt, he IS the ultimate weapon in the NFL. How he doesn’t win the MVP is beyond me. Noone does more, not even Brady.
For the Phillies, Utley is the man. I don’t know of any other player in the league that can do all that he does. His frame would not lead you to believe that he could jack 40 homers if he wanted. He should win t he MVP this year…as long as Chipper starts to fade soon.

They were not the NFC East champions. They advanced to the NFC Championship game out of the divisional round of the playoffs, but that doesn’t make them divisional champions.
And next year is promising, but won’t be easy. It’s still a loaded division, and everyones going to have to fight for a playoff spot.
As far as the offseason goes… for starters, McNabb is still under contract with the Eagles…. he wants an extension, and I’m inclined to believe he’ll get one. Runyan is going to be a free agent, and given his age and declining skills, I’d wager he won’t be back. William Thomas is probably who you’re thinking of, not Jamal Jackson. His contract is up this year too, and he’ll more than likely be resigned as he hasn’t let his age show too much. Jackson is under contract through like 2013. It’ll be a shame to lose Runyan as he’s been a great player for us, and he’s played through anything and everything, but I can’t see the Eagles paying him what he deserves.
Dawkins needs to be resigned as well. I believe they are the only unrestricted “big name” free agents the Eagles have to worry about.
All other needs will be addressed through free agency and the draft.

As an Eagles fan the future is murky at best, the franchise player (Mcnabb) is unhappy with the management and may be traded which would put us in the NFC East cellar. Vince Young is a borderline bust and Kolb is a bust in waiting so the future doesn’t look good if the Eagles don’t make peace with McNabb.
I am hopeful that the Eagles will make McNabb happy, sign a “Bettis” back, strengthen the O-line and get a pass rushing D end. But the future is murky at best, I have no faith they will do the right thing.
